The moste is open with full aromas of red and black fruit (cassis, blackcurrant). The palate is elegant and round with expressive structure and velvety tannins, a very well-balanced wine.
History
The Château Haut Pourjac was acquired in 1920 by Mr. Lestang, grandfather of the current owner, Mr. Patrick Bourrust, who has been working the vineyards since 1982. Originally the property was 5 ha. Over the years, it has been expanded to reach 35 ha.
