Averna’s traditional taste, well-balanced and authentic, with scents of Mediterranean plants and citrus fruits, makes Averna one of the most popular drinks in Italian bars. 60 different types of fruit peel, roots and herbs are used to prepare it. Then they are infused with spirit and pure sugar and allowed to mellow for two months.
Averna’s distinctive feature is the mix of the strong herbal taste and light fruity notes. It is also marked out as a herbal liqueur because it is less strong.
