Prairie Organic Hadcrafted Vodka 750ml
Prairie Organic vodka is made from a co-op of 900 farmers in growing in Minnesota. Said to be “handcrafted from certified organic #2 yellow corn.” The distillate (corn cobs and whatnot) are returned to the farmers to use as feed. The certification comes from Oregon Tilth.
Prairie Vodka also happens to be a certified kosher liquor by the Orthodox Union.
Prairie Vodka was awarded the Gold Medal at the 2010 SIP Awards.
Phillips Distilling Company began in 1899 as a “tiny distributor of candy and newspapers” but grew over five generations to a large spirits company producing several labels and bottling other imports. Since parting with former Millenium Imports, they have launched successful labels including UV Vodka and Prairie Organic Vodka.
