JS 93 James Suckling
A rosé with substance, offering cooked pears, green apples and light honey undertones. Medium to full body and a creamy texture. Flavorful and beautiful. Hint of cedar coming through and just a hint of bitterness at the end, which adds to the complexity. A little more barrel work here provides greater complexity. Drink now.
D 91 Decanter
From one of the most well-known rosé brands around the world, Rock Angel is the bigger, more intense and nuanced brother to Whispering Angel. Pale blush pink in colour, this is lively and refreshing with the depth and structure to pair well with food. A blend of Grenache and Vermentino, this offers white flower and raspberry notes on the nose and a blend of apple, pink grapefruit and summer berries on the palate. One to try if you like the other wines in the stable.
V 91 Vinous
Light pink. Mineral-accented red berry and pit fruit aromas are complemented by a building floral top note. Silky and smooth on the palate, offering ripe strawberry, tangerine and white peach flavors that take on a honeyed nuance with air. Shows very good persistence on the finish, which leaves a repeating pit fruit note behind. Drinking window: 2021 – 2024
